L’Oréal Ensures Merchandise Availability at New Beauty Boutiques
A few months ago, L’Oréal Paris, which offers their products through cosmetics departments in 130 countries, opened its world first Beauty Boutique in Chiado, one of the most charming area of Lisbon in Portugal. The 180 m² boutique brings together the whole range of L’Oréal Paris beauty products and a number of specialized services such as makeup, hair and skin diagnostics, to provide for the first time, the full L’ Oréal Paris beauty experience in a store.
The dimensions and characteristics of the boutique were a real challenge with regards to merchandise availability and anti-theft security. The brand turned to Checkpoint and chose to install integrated anti-theft labels, Classic Style EAS antennas and the Store Count solution.
More than a simple security solution, the Classic Style antennas were developed with retailers and brand owners’ major concern in mind: a plesant shopping experience. Simple and discreet, the Classic Style does not have an aggressive impact on the store environment thanks to its transparent elegant panels, which create an essence of transparency within the store.
In that respect, L’Oréal also chose Checkpoint’s antitheft adhesive labels: 2410, 2933 and 3710 Radio Frequency labels to protect their beauty products against theft. Ultra thin, flexible, transparent, and compliant with safety regulations, these labels are also very discrete, hence highly appropriate for beauty and cosmetics products, as they maintain the aesthetics of the packaging without affecting the shopping experience.
