August 16, 2016

Checkpoint Systems, a leading supplier of merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry, is proud to announce that it has been selected as a finalist in the ‘In-store Technology of The Year’ category for this year’s Retail Systems Awards for EVOLVE-Store.

The Retail Systems Awards recognises the technology excellence and innovation within the retail sector over the past year. The award winners are chosen by an independent judging panel of industry experts from the likes of Moët Hennessy, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer.

The judges were impressed by Checkpoint’s EVOLVE-Store solution that is currently being trialled by one of the Big Four grocery chains and is being utilised across Europe, helping retailers increase sales, reduce shrink and improve operational efficiency.

EVOLVE-Store has been developed to improve the in-store shopping experience, giving retailers the ability to measure, monitor and manage accurate real time data, to help them reinforce a sell more and lose less culture.

The solution provides retailers with chain-wide visibility, allowing them to benchmark and compare each stores’ performance. It is able to measure the total number of store visitors, customer conversion rates, average visitor dwell times, fitting room usage, number of EAS alarms, the estimated potential cost of external theft, along with several other data sources; providing retailers with powerful insights. The reports can be tailored to suit retailers’ needs according to the vertical market they operate in.

EVOLVE-Store analytics tools gives enterprise wide visibility, allowing retailers to compare and benchmark performances, including in store staff interactions, delivered through a secure portal providing retailers with powerful and actionable insights.

EVOLVE-Store also works seamlessly with both RF and RFID, reporting on scenarios involving merchandise tagged with other technology. The solution enables retailers that already use RFID for asset tracking to cost effectively make the switch to using the same labels for loss prevention.

Neville Payne, Vice President of Merchandise Availability Solutions at Checkpoint Systems UK, commented: “We’re thrilled to be nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Retail Systems Awards. We are always striving to develop cutting edge retail management solutions that benefit our customers’ operations and we’re delighted that EVOLVE-Store has be recognised. I’d like to thank the judges for taking the time to go through the entries and we look forward to hearing the result.”

This year’s award’s ceremony will take place on November 3rd at the Millennium Hotel in London’s Mayfair.
