Checkpoint Systems announced as Retail Risk Fraud Awards finalist
Checkpoint Systems, a leading supplier of merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry, is proud to announce that it has been selected as a finalist in two categories for this year’s Retail Risk Fraud Awards, ‘Vendor of the Year’ category and ‘Most Innovative In-Store Product’ for EVOLVE-Store.
The Fraud Awards showcases and celebrates the very best in retail fraud and loss prevention, people, processes, strategy and technology. The award winners are chosen by an independent judging panel of industry experts from the likes of Adidas Group, Dixons Carphone and Arcadia Group.
The judges were impressed by Checkpoint’s EVOLVE-Store solution as well as a number of the company’s projects that have helped retailers increase sales, reduce shrink and improve operational efficiency, including its:
- Fresh meat source tagging programme; which enabled a Big Four supermarket chain to reduce shrinkage on its red meat lines by over half. Checkpoint’s 4210 EP RF security labels are now applied by the grocery chains’ suppliers to pre-packed meat, before being shipped to its distribution centre and then to store.
- Holland & Barret has improved sales by achieving greater visibility of footfall across its estate, using the company’s EVOLVE range to analyse transaction data against conversion rates at each of its 950 stores in the UK, Ireland, Benelux and Scandinavia. Allowing the retailer to remotely access in-store reports and analyse footfall against transaction data, to calculate shopper conversion rates and improve staffing allocations.
- The newly launched EVOLVE-Store solution which is being trialled by a Big Four grocery chain, has been developed to improve the in-store shopping experience across all verticals, giving retailers the ability to measure, monitor and manage accurate real time data, sending event alerts to store staff via the App. With improved staff interaction at the right time in the right place, a sell more and lose less culture is reinforced. EVOLVE-Store is capable of measuring data from various touch points, for example the total number of store visitors, customer conversion rates, fitting room usage, and number of EAS alarms. EVOLVE-Store analytics gives enterprise wide visibility, allowing retailers to compare and benchmark performances, including in store staff interactions, delivered through a secure portal providing retailers with powerful and actionable insights.
